Will Lehmann Frames is a full service, year round picture framing business that has provided high quality picture framing to the lakes region since 1977. Our design studio located at 163 School House Road in Sandwich, New Hampshire offers a very comprehensive selection of framing products and services.  Our commitment to providing the best possible framing for each individual piece, taking into account the unique needs and tastes of their clients, has gained us a solid  reputation for excellence in design and workmanship..

Will Lehmann Frames in Sandwich houses a design studio, workshop and manufacturing facility.  The “Barn”, built in 1995, is designed specifically to accommodate the various activities and materials that comprise this unique picture framing business.  These activities include: conservation framing, matting, cutting and joining mouldings, mounting, stretching of needlework and paintings on canvas, restoration of frames and artwork, etc.  Also included is custom woodworking, hand finishing, and the manufacture, from scratch, of a number of original lines of custom frames made for local clients and other picture framers around the country. We carry an assortment of antique frames and have a huge selection of mouldings made in Italy, France and around the world.  We provide regular “Conservation” and “Museum” glass as well as plexiglass, beveled and flat mirror.

One very useful and popular line comes in unique profiles, usually hand painted and/or gilded, sometimes including corner blocks and rosettes.  Another line uses whole natural pine limbs or trunks, de-barked, sanded smooth and hand finished in an Adirondack style.  Birch boughs, left natural, are also used to great advantage on artwork and mirrors for that “camp” look.  Design options are not limited to the frames made from scratch, in house.
